Ristorante Garibaldi, Cisterna
Italians travel from Torino and Milan to eat at Garibaldi. When you sit down, you'll be asked about food allergies and then they will feed you what the kitchen is cooking today, a menu built on four small appetizers, one pasta course, one meat course, dessert, amaro or grappa, and an espresso. Come hungry, omit the meat course if you must.
This is the beautiful European experience you've hoped for. In the Michelin Guide. Incredible value. Sunday lunch (pranzo) is a sacred community event, if you can.

Ras-Cia Muraje
I overheard an older Italian man say to the chef recently, "I've been fortunate to eat at many of the best restaurants around the world and today, you moved me." Alessandro and Giacomo are culinaey geniuses who, I believe, will move you, too. Upscale dining. Purchase your flights to Italy and then eat here.
Ca Rossa is a restaurant in Cisterna's main piazza. I eat here all the time. Beautiful people serving delicious traditional food made from the highest quality ingredients. Unlike Garibaldi, this restaurant offers a menu from which one can order alla carte. If weather permits, eating on the veranda affords unforgettable views from high over the vineyards.
